PlayStation 4’s Play At Home Initiative

With everyone all over the world urged to do their bit in the fight against the deadly COVID–19, we have seen some measures put in place by different platforms to help people deal with the no movements. They go a long way in helping contain the spread of the pandemic.

Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the Play At Home initiative as a measure of appreciation to everyone who is playing an invaluable part to bring the impact of the coronavirus disease down to the barest minimum through the practice of physical/social distancing.

Two Vital Components of the Initiative

The Play At Home move comes in two components, they are, first of all, affording free games that will keep the PlayStation community entertained throughout their stay at home period. The other element is to secure funds that will go into assisting smaller independent game studios who might have found themselves in some financial challenges as they go on to develop excellent concepts for players.
